    Crownlay

    Have you been diagnosed with needing a crown? Why not consider getting a crownlay? A crownlay is a more conservative treatment that offers the same benefits as a traditional crown, with less tooth removal. It is more technique sensitive, but requires less tooth structure removal. As a result, there may be less post operative sensitivity, less chances of needing a root canal, and more healthy tooth structure, which helps if future treatment is ever needed. The result looks much better as well, making it look much more natural that a full coverage crown!
    Consider below. The patient had a crack in the tooth and required ceramic coverage. The crack was removed in a conservative manner, and the healthy walls of the tooth were preserved. These would have been lost if a traditional crown had to be done. Once completed, you can see that just the top of the tooth is covered in ceramic, while a nice healthy wall of natural tooth remains to support the bite. The transition between the tooth and ceramic is much more seamless than that of a traditional crown, where often the metal shows underneath.

    Implant Assisted Denture

Why not consider getting an implant assisted denture? Were you aware that the standard of care for missing all teeth on the lower arch is actually 2 implants and an implant assisted complete denture? This is due to the fact that lower dentures have little to no retention.
    Observe the before and after. The patient had no bone on her lower jaw. Her denture would move around every time she tried to eat. You can observe the difference just having 2 implants makes to help retain the denture in the mouth better. Now she is able to smile with more confidence and eat foods she simply couldn't before.
